Quilted Vest Logwood
This quilted vest is a very versatile piece. It was designed to wear it almost all year around, on top of a dress, a blouse, a shirt or a jumper; with trousers, skirts or it can be worn as a top on warmer days. It is as a waist-length vest.
The outside of the vest is made of 50% cotton, 50% linen. It was printed with Solidago plant tops and marigold petals and dyed with logwood bark. The inside of the vest is 100% organic khadi cotton, a handspun and handwoven fine indian cotton fabric. It is very soft and pleasant to touch. It was dyed with coreopsis flowers collected in my dye garden. The batting is 50% cotton, 50% soya.
The thread used for hand quilting is 100% silk dyed with Oxalis pes caprae flowers + a basic modifier.
The vest is fully reversible, so you have two in one :)
The quilted vest comes in 3 sizes, so check the size guide to be sure which one fits best to you.
