Quilted Vest Daisies & Indigo

This quilted vest is a very versatile piece. It was designed to wear it almost all year around, on top of a dress, a blouse, a shirt or a jumper; with trousers, skirts or it can be worn as a top on warmer days. It is as a waist-length vest.

The outside of the vest is made of 100% ramie, which is a plant fibre from the nettle family and it is very similar to linen. It was printed with daisies and dyed with oak acorns, all combined with iron. The inside of the vest is a very soft linen/cotton fabric (50%/50%) printed with some leaves and over dyed with indigo. The batting is 50% cotton, 50% soya. 

The thread used for hand quilting is made of 100% wool dyed with indigo. The bias is a beautiful blue vichy in 100% organic cotton.

The vest is fully reversible, so you have two in one :)
